Delta Air Lines Adds New Nonstop to Lima from Salt Lake City

Delta Air Lines will soon offer another nonstop flight into Lima, Peru, marking the first direct service between Salt Lake City and the Peruvian capital.

Starting Dec. 4, 2025, Delta will fly direct from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM). The service is currently scheduled to operate through Jan. 25, 2026.

Delta will utilize a wide-body Boeing 767-300ER for the route, featuring four cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.

According to the airline, Lima is the most in-demand South American destination from Salt Lake City. The city is known as the gateway to the Andes, Machu Picchu, and the Amazon rainforest. From Lima, Delta also offers connections to other South American cities including São Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Santiago, Chile, via its LATAM partnership.
