Club Med Is Bringing a Ski Resort to Canada

Massif de Charlevoix (CNW Group/Club Med)

Club Med’s first North American ski resort will be in Quebec.

The company plans to build a $120 million property in Le Massif de Charlevoix ski region. The all-inclusive resort will offer 300 guestrooms and slopes overlooking the Saint Lawrence River. The property is slated to open in 2020.

Club Med aims to offer a four-season product, promoting tourism to the region from Quebec to Tadoussac during the warmer months.

It’s part of Club Med’s long-term plans expand its mountain/ski resort offerings. The brand has fifteen openings taking place through 2019, representing one to two mountain resort openings per year. Club Med currently has 24 all-inclusive mountain resorts in France, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, and China.
