Fall Travel Report: New York City Top Domestic Destination
Travel Leaders Group has released the findings from its 2015 nationwide survey of travel agents and a new top domestic destination has been revealed. New York City is now the top domestic destination for the upcoming fall and winter seasons, a distinction usually held by Orlando and Las Vegas. More than 1,000 Travel Leaders’ agents responded to the survey, which is based on agents’ bookings. Orlando, last year’s top ranked destination, was number two followed by Maui and Las Vegas.
The survey also ranked top international travel destinations for the remainder of 2015. Caribbean cruises ranked number one, followed by Cancun, London and European cruises. The majority of agents surveyed said their cruise bookings are either higher or equal to last year. In other findings, bookings for millennial clients increased while bookings to Greece are lower or equal to 2014.
