From Restaurant To Room Service: Hyatt Expands Partnership With GrubHub
by Jessica MontevagoHyatt expanded its partnership with food delivery service GrubHub, allowing hotel guests to order food from local eateries directly to their room.
Available at the Millennial-geared Hyatt Centric brand, the upgraded room service offers a selection of a dozen restaurants. The restaurants available at each property are selected by hotel staff, providing a good sample of local favorites.
Beginning this month, the service will be offered at an additional six properties, in San Francisco, CA; Arlington, VA; The Woodlands, TX; Times Square New York, NY; and Chicago, IL.
Hyatt began testing the program in 2016 at three Hyatt Centric hotels, in Long Beach, CA; Park City, Utah; and Miami, FL, as part of its Restaurant To Go dining program, which also includes a 24/7 express menu that offers dishes guaranteed to be ready in 20 minutes or less.
