Pleasant Holidays and its luxury brand, Journese, have expanded its no brand change fees policy.

The tour operator, which eliminated brand change fees for Continental US and Canada land bookings in 2019, announced Tuesday the elimination of brand change fees for land vacations to all destinations in their product lines.

Zero Brand Change Fees applies to new bookings made by March 31, 2021 for travel any time to Hawaii, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, Japan, Asia, Mexico and the South Pacific, including Tahiti, Cook Islands and Fiji for both brands and to Journese-exclusive destinations, including Australia & New Zealand, Maldives, and United Arab Emirates.

Jack E. Richards, president and CEO, said the policy will help encourage travelers to book now, knowing that they can change their vacation up to the time of departure if needed.

“For even greater peace of mind, travel advisors can include our Cancel-for-Any-Reason Travel Protection Plan coverage, which includes pre-departure travel arrangement and waiver benefits that cover COVID-19 cancellations, non-refundable air and hotel components, price protection, supplier change fees and more; post-departure insurance benefits; and commission protection for the travel advisor and also meets the new visitor health insurance entry  requirements for Costa Rica and Turks & Caicos,” Richards added.

The offer does not apply to cruise vacation bookings and any supplier change and/or cancellation fees will still apply for bookings that do not include the Cancel-for-Any-Reason Travel Protection Plan, which is available beginning at $99 per person for new bookings made through Jan. 31, 2021.

Pleasant Holidays recently rolled out another resource for travel advisors. Last month, the company launched a social media toolkit, a new marketing resource, designed to help travel advisors grow their sales by increasing their online presence and promote engagement.
