New Opening: JW Marriott Hotel Nairobi
by Sarah Milner /Marriott has officially opened its debut property in the heart of Kenya: JW Marriott Hotel Nairobi.
The 315-room hotel pays tribute to the region’s history and culture with an elegant design that melds urban luxury with the African outdoors. This is the second JW Marriott property in Kenya. Standing at 35 stories, it is the tallest hotel in the country.
“JW Marriott extends its commitment to mindfulness and wellness with the opening of the new hotel, inviting guests to indulge in the serene experiences amidst the breathtaking landscape of East Africa,” said Bruce Rohr, vice president and global brand leader, JW Marriott.
JW Marriott Hotel Nairobi features five dining experiences, eight event spaces, a spa, a swimming pool, and a fitness center, with plans for an additional 51 serviced apartments and Mr. Pang Sky Bar & Lounge to open later this year.
Located in the Westlands commercial district, the hotel is situated in close proximity to the region’s top tourist attractions, as well as Nairobi’s Central Business District. The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive away.
