American Airlines Adds Flights for Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas
by Daniel McCarthy /American Airlines is boosting service into Las Vegas for next February’s Super Bowl 58.
Between Thursday, Feb. 8, and Monday, Feb. 13, American is increasing inbound and outbound service to Vegas from ten cities, including its hub in Dallas Forth Worth, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Los Angeles, Miami International, and New York’s JFK International Airport.
The schedule includes multiple flights per day inbound in the lead-up to the Super Bowl and then some additional outbound options from Las Vegas to those ten cities. Here are the numbers for each city:
- Austin: two inbound flights on both Feb. 8 and Feb. 9.
- Charlotte: eight inbound flights on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9, and six on Feb. 10.
- Chicago O’Hare: five inbound flights on both Feb. 8 and 9, and two on Feb. 10.
- Dallas: 14 inbound flights on Feb. 8 and 9, along with 8 on Feb. 10.
- Los Angeles: five inbounds on Feb. 8 and 9, and two inbound flights on Feb. 10.
- Miami: two inbounds on Feb. 8 and 9, three on Feb. 10.
- New York: two inbounds on Feb. 8 and 9, one on Feb. 10.
- Philadelphia: three inbounds on Feb. 8 and 9, two on Feb. 10
- Phoenix: five on Feb. 8, six on Feb. 9, and four on Feb. 10.
- Washington D.C.: one on each of Feb. 8, 9, and 10.
From New York, American will fly to Vegas in its Airbus A321T, which includes 10 lie-flat Flagship First and 20 lie-flat Flagship Business seats.
