According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the world’s shortest scheduled commercial flight is from Westray, an island off of Scotland, to Papa Westray, another island off of Scotland that’s even smaller. The flight takes less than two minutes and could take less than one minute if wind conditions allow it to.
Regional U.K. carrier Logan Air is one of the carriers to fly the route, which typically is operated on an eight-seater Britten Norman Islander aircraft, usually filled with policemen, teaches, students, and doctors traveling between the two destinations.
