Las Vegas is home to five of the world’s ten largest hotels—The Venetian resort (#2, 7,092 rooms), MGM Grand Las Vegas (#3, 6,852 rooms), Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Resort (#7, 4,748 rooms), Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino (#9, 4,426 rooms), and Luxor Las Vegas (#10, 4,407 rooms) all hold spots in the list of the world’s largest hotel rooms.

Those five are the only North American hotels on the top 10 of the list.

The world’s largest hotel, the First World hotel, is located in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. That hotel, which has held the title since 2015, includes 7,351 rooms, just 259 more than The Venetian.
