The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Reveals Ilma Interior Details
by Dori Saltzman /The Ritz-Carlton has revealed the interior of Ilma, its second ultra-luxury superyacht. The vessel will feature new-to-the-brand venues including the Beach House eatery and an expansive sundeck.
Named after the Maltese word for “water,” the ship’s design features, color palettes, materials, and works of art are inspired by elements of Maltese mythology, coastline, history, and native fauna.
Brand-new on Ilma will be the Beach House, an indoor/outdoor restaurant with 180-degee views. The “casually elegant” eatery will feature unique ingredients and culinary dishes rooted in Peruvian and Pan-Latin cuisine, alongside craft cocktails.
Another new spot onboard will be the entirety of Deck 10, which will feature an open-air space for entertainment and sunbathing.
Ilma additionally features two new upper suite categories – the Ilma Suite and the Concierge Suite – as well as a higher percentage of larger suite categories.
The 790-foot Ilma debuts on Sept. 2, 2024 with a seven-night cruise from Monte Carlo to Rome.
