(l-r): Teresa Tennant and Annie Scrivanich
Long time Cruise Specialists executive, Annie Scrivanich is leaving her role as senior vice president. She will be succeeded by Teresa Tennant, the current vice president who oversees the group, shore excursion, and administrative teams for Cruise Specialists.
Scrivanich, who joined Cruise Specialists in 2013, is retiring after a long career in the industry. Prior Cruise Specialists, she worked for Cruise Advisors and for Tour Alaska. In the latter role, she was instrumental in pioneering the Route of the Glaciers itinerary and developing the highly popular concept of private dome railcar travel.
“I’m grateful to Annie for her incredible leadership of Cruise Specialists over the past decade,” said John Lovell, president of Travel Leaders Group. (Cruise Specialists is part of the Travel Leaders Group.) “She is a highly respected expert on premier and grand cruising and is known for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers in our industry… I wish her well on her retirement adventure.”
Tennant joined Cruise Specialists in 2007 as operations manager and was promoted to vice president in 2019. Previously, she worked in various roles with Holland America Line. She will start in her new role on September 1, with Scrivanich staying on for several months in a supporting role.
