Sabre Acquires Corporate-Focused Developer

Sabre Airline Solutions, a sister business unit of Sabre Travel Network, acquired PRISM Group Inc., a New Mexico.-based developer of airline corporate customer management solutions.

PRISM’s solutions enable airlines to derive more value from corporate customer contracts.

Fifteen of the world’s 20 largest airlines and six airline alliances use its technology for their global contracting tool, according to PRISM. The same technology is integrated into Avion, a system used by companies for the management of their global travel management programs.

Sabre Airline Solutions said the acquisition will further strengthen its commercial planning software by bringing solutions to an airline’s corporate sales organization. PRISM’s solutions assess historical traffic patterns and other key points of interest to help manage agreements with corporations.
