Contiki, the tour company for 18 to 35 year olds, is adding six new trips to Greece in 2023 thanks to a surge in demand for the destination. Departures start in April.

“Greece has got everything, from pretty fishing villages to cool beach clubs,” said Natasha Lawrence, commercial and product development director at Contiki. “It’s always been one of the most popular destinations for Contiki travelers. This year, we’ll even exceed our pre-pandemic passengers into the region, which shows the upward trend is set to continue.”

Among the new options are “Greek Island Hopping Plus” and “Athens to Santorini Plus,” which offer the same itinerary as their original counterparts but with twin-share accommodation in a four-star hotels instead of a hostel multi-share.

Young travelers interested in exploring mainland Greece, as well as the islands can also opt for two new trip combinations: “Spotlight on Greece & Greek Island Hopping Plus” or “Spotlight on Greece & Athens to Santorini Plus.”

Two other new offerings are an 11-day “Greek Explorer” that encompasses Greece’s ancient history with a stop-off in Corfu, and “Athens, Naxos & Crete,” which is an alternative island-hopping itinerary visiting Greece’s lesser-known islands.
