Toronto-based Exodus Travels has added 28 self-guided cycling and walking itineraries to its 2017 portfolio, in response to a 20% increase in bookings last year.
For example, the company’s new seven-day England tour through the Lake District, with stops at National Trust properties and the Hawkshead Brewery. In Spain, travelers can pedal coast to coast on the Balearic Islands, through the heart of Mallorca, stopping off at small markets towns before ending by the coast in Alcudia for eight days.
A seven-day walking tour in Southern Tuscany, visits abbeys, medieval castles and Renaissance towns, while travelers can cycle through Romania for nine days, including Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains.
Exodus Travels now has 55 self-guided tours in its offerings.
