Pleasant Holidays and Journese Makes Two Key Appointments to Its Sales Team
by Daniel McCarthy /Tour operator Pleasant Holidays on Thursday announced two significant promotions to its sales team staff.
Chanda Vudmaska, who has spent more than three decades with Pleasant, has been promoted to staff vice president of sales. He will be responsible for Pleasant’s sales teams, including its BDMs across the U.S., national accounts, and sales training.
Steven Perry, who has spent nine years with Pleasant, leading the company’s travel advisor training programs, will now serve as manager of national accounts and training. Perry helped build the Pleasant Pro Academy, which now sports more than 9,000 graduates.
“Chanda brings extensive knowledge and commitment to the Pleasant Holidays and Journese brands, and Steven has utilized his travel industry product knowledge to develop a vast trove of knowledge among Travel Advisors across the country,” said Jack E. Richards, President, and CEO.
“We are delighted to see them flourish and achieve success in these new roles leading a team that is focused and engaged with travel advisors – including independent contractors – to grow sales and income.”
Vudmaska and Perry are not the only two additions for Pleasant, either. The tour company also recently added two more BDMs.
Natalia Pirumyan will serve as BDM for the Southern California Region, covering Los Angeles, Malibu, Pasadena, Glendale, Bakersfield, Bishop, Arcadia, and Alhambra, along with Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. Lydia Torres will do the same for the Southern California Region, covering the territory encompassing San Diego County and the Inland Empire counties of Riverside and San Bernardino.
