Pleasant Holidays has appointed Denis Fastert as its new chief operating office, effective April 7, 2025.

Fastert has decades of experience both inside and outside the travel industry, including more than 16 years at Expedia Group and Classic Vacations.

His expertise lies particularly in leading transformational initiatives, improving service delivery, and managing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. Most recently, he served as COO for a startup using nanotechnology research to create a sustainable space-age material used by NASA on the International Space Station.

“Denis brings extensive experience in leading large cross-functional teams, driving technical advancements, and optimizing complex operations,” said David Hu, president and CEO of Pleasant Holidays. “His passion for making a meaningful, long-lasting impact aligns closely with our company’s values, and we are excited to welcome his leadership to our team.”
