by Dori Saltzman /Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will add another Super Ship to its fleet in 2026. The ship, the S.S. Emilie, will be inspired by Austrian painter Gustav Klimt.
“We’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new ship to our fleet in 2026, just in time to celebrate Uniworld’s 50th anniversary,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld.
The S.S. Emilie will join the S.S. Victoria, which debuts on the Rhine this year, along with S.S. Elisabeth, which debuts, also on the Rhine, in 2025. More information about the ship and its itineraries will be forthcoming.
Uniworld has added five other Super Ships to its fleet since 2020, including the Mekong Jewel on the Mekong River; the Aria Amazon on the Maranon and Ucayali rivers in Peru; the S.S. Sao Gabriel on the Douro; the S.S. La Venezia on the Venetian Lagoon; and the S.S. Sphinx on the Nile River.
Each Uniworld Super Ship is designed to reflect the destination in which it sails. While the exact size and passenger capacity vary per ship, but the average capacity on a Uniworld ship is 120 guests.
