Pan Am Revived for Two Luxury Transatlantic Tours in 2025
by Daniel McCarthy /What many consider the glory days of aviation are returning—sort of. Pan Am is being revived for two tours next year that will celebrate the legacy of the airline in luxury.
The revived Pan Am will operate two 12-day voyages, called Tracing the Transatlantic, roundtrip from New York City on June 16 and June 27, 2025. Each tour will offer 50 guests the chance to relive Pan Am’s glory days in a Boeing 757 aircraft configured with all Business Class lie-flat seating.
The voyages are officially licensed by Pan American World Airways and supported by the Pan Am Museum Foundation. They are operated by specialty tour companies Bartelings and Criterion Travel.
The tours begin and end with gala evenings at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel, bringing guests to Bermuda, Lisbon, Marseille, London, and Foynes. Guests will also stay at iconic properties like the Fairmont Hamilton Princess in Bermuda, the Four Seasons Ritz in Lisbon, the Savoy in London, and Adare Manor in Ireland.
Programming along the way will focus on the legacy of Pan Am and its people, including a dinner at the Flying Boat Museum in Foynes and a performance of fado folk music in Lisbon.
Bookings are open for the itineraries. Pricing starts at $59,950 per person, based on twin occupancy, or $65,500 for single occupancy. Bookings are commissionable for travel advisors, with a 10% commission on all bookings.
