Pan American World Airways has announced the launch of Pan Am Journeys, a new brand dedicated to ultra-luxury private air experiences.

Pan Am is a legacy name in the world of aviation. The brand was revived for two Pan Am transatlantic tours in 2025 that celebrated the company and the golden age of aviation. Following the success of those 12-day itineraries, Pan Am partnered with Beyond Capricorn for a 2026 private jet tour lasting 20 days.

Craig Carter, CEO of Pan Am Global Holdings, parent company of Pan American World Airways, said the response to the 2025 tours was “overwhelming.”

“Former crew members, aviation enthusiasts, and travelers who remembered the golden age of travel and those who longed to experience it came together around a shared belief: that elegance, discovery, and the journey itself still matter,” said Carter.

Now, Pan Am Journeys will continue to build on this momentum with multi-day private jet expeditions. The collection will launch with “A Journey to Reimagine Africa,” a 19-day itinerary that explores South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. The private jet expedition will depart from New York on June 19, 2027.

The inaugural expedition was created in partnership with SafariScapes, a luxury safari operator. Highlights of “A Journey to Reimagine Africa” include private game drives in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, a private guided exploration of Victoria Falls, and a three-night journey aboard the iconic Rovos Rail.

Travelers will enjoy the expedition aboard a private Pan Am Boeing 757-200, which has been configured to offer all business-class, lie-flat seating. The price, $129,000 per person, based on double occupancy, is all-inclusive, covering experienes, accommodations, transfers, dining, beverages, and gratuities. Along the way, guests will be supported by seamless luggage handling as well as a team of dedicated staff.

“Pan Am Journeys is reintroducing a style of travel defined by meaning, elegance and authentic discovery,” said Carter. “We are delighted to partner with SafariScapes, whose expertise perfectly complements our vision for our first Africa journey.”
