PrivateFly Acquires Private Jet Broker Bird Dog

by Daniel McCarthy  November 30, 2017

Private Jet charter company Bird Dog Jet has been acquired by U.K.-based PrivateFly.

PrivateFly CEO Adam Twidell made the announcement in an email to customers this week, writing that Bird Dog Jet will join PrivateFly’s existing U.S. team in Fort Lauderdale.

“We’ve been busy arranging more flights, for more customers, than ever before. And I’m now delighted to be able to announce PrivateFly’s takeover of Bird Dog Jet, a US charter broker. They will join our existing US team based in Fort Lauderdale,” he wrote, adding that the acquisition will “enable us to fly more clients within North America, the Caribbean and further afield.”
