Dominica Launches New Online Training Course for Travel Advisors

Soufriere, Dominica.
Discover Dominica Authority just launched a new destination training course for travel advisors.
The training is now available through the Online Travel Training (OTT) platform. When advisors complete the self-paced course, they will receive a Certificate of Completion to identify them as knowledgeable sellers of the destination.
“Travel advisors are important partners in connecting travelers with Dominica, particularly in our key source markets,” said Marva Williams, CEO of Discover Dominica Authority. “This new course allows us to deepen their knowledge of the destination while expanding our reach among travel professionals who can confidently recommend Dominica to their clients.”
The training covers seven pillars of Dominica tourism: Adventure, Health & Wellness, Romance, Aqua, Culture/Events & Entertainment, Agro, and Kalinago. It also highlights experiences that set Dominica apart from other Caribbean destinations, such as rainforest adventures, rivers and waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, world-class diving and marine experiences, and cultural activities.
The new course is free and part of Discover Dominica Authority’s latest efforts to expand its network of travel advisors selling Dominica and strengthen their education.
