Nobu Hospitality Plans its Puerto Rican Debut

Nobu Hospitality has announced the latest destination its plans to open a hotel a restaurant: San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The 50-room luxury hotel will blend the historic character of San Juan with Nobu’s contemporary aesthetic. It will have a signature Nobu restaurant and bar at street level, as well as a rooftop lounge and bar, and is expected to open in 2028.
“Puerto Rico has long been one of the Caribbean’s most compelling destinations, celebrated for its rich history, vibrant culture, and exceptional hospitality,” said Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality. “Bringing the Nobu Hotel and Restaurant to San Juan allows us to become part of one of the region’s most storied neighborhoods while introducing our distinctive approach to hospitality in a destination that continues to attract discerning travelers from around the world.”
San Juan is one of several destinations that Nobu is planning to debut in. Recently, the hospitality has announced upcoming new properties in Portugal, Barbuda, and the Maldives.
