Soccer Star Ronaldo in Hotel Venture
Cristiano Ronaldo, the 30-year-old Real Madrid soccer star, is adding “hotelier” to his resume.
Ronaldo has signed a joint-venture deal with Portugal’s Pestana Hotel Group to launch four boutique hotels under his brand “CR7.” The properties will be in his native Portugal, as well as New York and Madrid.
The CR7 brand until now was limited to fashion and fragrances.
As one of the largest tourism and leisure groups in Portugal, The Pestana Group runs 91 hotels around the world.
