American Cruise Lines is doubling down in the 49th state with its biggest ever Alaska cruise season. The cruise line will have two ships in Alaska sailing five itineraries from May through September.

For 2025, American has repositioned American Constitution to the West Coast for summer Alaska cruises and spring and fall Puget Sound cruises. The 170-passenger ship joins sister ship, American Constellation, thus doubling capacity in the region.

Among the five itineraries available are two new Alaska National Parks cruises, which feature seven days of land exploration in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Park, a 12- or nine-day cruise between Fairbanks and Juneau, and special small-ship access in Glacier Bay National Park.

Other itineraries are the nine-day Southeast Alaska cruise sailing roundtrip from Juneau; the 12-day Alaskan Explorer, which includes a pre-cruise night in Juneau; and the 16-day Alaska Inside Passage itinerary, which sails from Seattle to Juneau or vice versa. (May 2025 departures from Seattle include a complimentary Four Seasons pre-cruise package, and all 2025 Alaska Inside Passage cruises offer complimentary domestic airfare.)
