Carnival Firenze Joins Carnival Cruise Line Fleet

Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet has officially grown by one with the addition of Carnival Firenze, the second ship to join the North American fleet from sister line Costa Cruises. The ship is currently at a shipyard in Cadiz, Spain where it will undergo a two-month refurbishment.
“The beauty of Florence, Italy is about to meet the FUN of Carnival Cruise Line,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “We are elated to welcome Carnival Firenze to the Carnival fleet, joining her sister Carnival Venezia to showcase ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style.'”
Carnival Firenze will begin sailing year-round from Long Beach, Calif. in April offering a range of three- and four-day sailings to Mexico and Catalina Island, and five- , six- , and seven-day cruises to the Mexican Riviera.
