Cunard to Redesign QM2’s Kings Court
Cunard will overhaul the Kings Court buffet restaurant aboard the Queen Mary 2 when the ship dry-docks at the end of May 2016. The restaurant will be completely rearranged “to create a relaxed self-service experience with a refined, yet informal ambiance,” the cruise line said. The overhaul includes pre-set tables, waiter-served drinks, and cooking demonstrations hosted by Cunard chefs.
The ship will dry-dock from May 27 to June 21, 2016 at the Blohm & Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, Germany. Other plans for the refit include new Britannia staterooms and the addition of the new Carinthia Lounge.
