Hyatt’s Andaz brand, which recently opened Singapore, will gain its first Caribbean property with an Andaz in Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, debuting in late 2020 or early 2021. The announcement was made during ILTM North America this morning.

The resort will feature 59 hotel guestrooms and 74 branded residential units on 5.5 acres. There will be four restaurants and bars, plus a well-being facility with a spa and yoga studio. Grace Bay’s beach is also regularly ranked on a variety of best beach lists.

Owners of the residences, which are priced from $500,000 to $8.5 million, will be able to put their units into the rental pool of hotel inventory.

Future Andaz properties in Munich, Bali and Palm Springs are also under development.

Separately, Hyatt said its Unbound Collection, which was launched in 2016, will have new locations in London and Budapest. There will also be a new Park Hyatt in Los Angeles, Los Cabos and Mexico City coming in 2020 and 2021. In addition, a Grand Hyatt in Bogota opened in August.
