United CEO Suffers Heart Attack
United Continental CEO Oscar Munoz suffered a heart attack in Chicago yesterday, according to a report from Dow Jones. The 56-year-old Munoz took over the reins at the Chicago-based airline company in September after former CEO Jeff Smisek resigned in the middle of a federal probe. Munoz is being treated at a Chicago hospital. In the meantime, the airline said in a statement that it is “continuing to operate normally” and will provide more details as appropriate.
