by Bruce Parkinson  October 09, 2026
alma Travel Solutions has announced the acquisition of Cambridge, Ontario-based Plus Travel Group.

Talma Travel Solutions has announced the acquisition of Cambridge, Ontario-based Plus Travel Group.

Travel management company Talma Travel Solutions has announced the acquisition of Cambridge, Ontario-based Plus Travel Group, marking the company’s expansion into the Canadian market and strengthening its North American presence.

The parties say the acquisition brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to personalized service, with experienced travel professionals combining with technology-driven solutions to simplify the business travel experience.

Bringing a strong reputation and established client relationships in Canada, Plus Travel Group adds local market expertise to Talma’s expanding global network, while gaining access to Talma’s broader international capabilities, technology, resources, access and portfolio of travel solutions.

Founded in 1978, Plus Travel Group provides customized corporate travel programs for organizations of all sizes. The TMC is a proud holder of Air Canada Circle of Excellence Platinum status.

“Our investment in Plus Travel Group marks another important milestone in our global growth strategy,” said Iya Magen, CEO of Talma Travel Solutions.

“Over the past four years, we have made a series of strategic investments and acquisitions across travel services and technology, building a stronger global platform and positioning Talma to set a new standard for the customer experience. Plus Travel Group shares our commitment to exceptional client service, proactive account management, and innovative technology. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and delighted to welcome the Plus Travel Group team and clients to the wider Talma family.”

Talma says both companies take a highly personalized approach to corporate travel management, tailoring programs to the unique needs of each client while combining dedicated account management with technology-enabled booking, policy compliance, reporting, and cost optimization.

Their shared focus on traveller care also includes 24/7 support, helping travellers and businesses navigate changes, disruptions, and complex itineraries wherever they are in the world.

In addition to corporate travel, both organizations offer expertise across leisure travel, groups, meetings, and events. The combination of Talma’s international scale and Plus Travel Group’s deep understanding of the Canadian market is expected to create opportunities to deliver an expanded range of services and capabilities to clients across North America and key markets worldwide.

For Plus Travel Group, the acquisition represents an opportunity to build on the company’s longstanding commitment to personalized service while expanding the resources and global reach available to its clients.

Jeffrey Verman, CEO of Plus Travel Group, will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.

“From the beginning, our goal has been to deliver exceptional personal service, provide value that goes well beyond the booking itself, and stay ahead of the curve by leveraging the best technology available in our industry,” said Verman.

“Our partnership with Talma Travel Solutions marks an exciting new chapter for our team and our clients. It strengthens our global reach, enhances our collective buying power, and expands the solutions and resources we can offer, while creating new opportunities for continued growth.”
