Cruise industry veteran Anthony Iozzia has joined Aurora Expeditions as its new sales director for the Northeast U.S. and Key Accounts.

Iozzia joins the cruise line from Atlas Ocean Voyages where he served as regional sales director for more than three years. He has previously held positions at Windstar Cruises and Celebrity Cruises.

“I am very excited to have recently joined Aurora Expeditions as the sales director, Northeast and Key Accounts,” Iozzia told TMR. “My passion is small-ship cruising specifically expedition cruising. Aurora Expeditions, based in Australia, has been a leader in this space for over 30 years, with a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand. Now, they’re expanding their North America presence — and that’s where I come in.”

“My goal is to help travel advisors see what makes Aurora Expeditions so special. I’m confident that many of these travel advisors have clients who are looking for a more immersive experience to the polar regions and with Aurora only carrying 130 guests, they get to spend more time exploring, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, skiing, hiking, snow shoeing, etc. It is a very unique product that many ‘explorers’ will appreciate.”
