Carnival Launches FunPacks, Offering Savings of Up to 55% on Cruise Extras

Carnival Launches FunPacks, Offering Savings of Up to 55% on Cruise Extras

Carnival is introducing ‘Fun Packs’ for a limited time.

Carnival Cruise Line has introduced a new collection of bundled vacation extras, offering guests savings of 35% to 55% compared to purchasing individual amenities.

Called FunPacks, the four new packages combine popular add-ons such as beverage packages, Wi-Fi, shore excursions, specialty dining and spa discounts, giving travellers the opportunity to customize their cruise experience while potentially reducing costs.

The limited-time offer is available for purchase through My Cruise Manager on Carnival.com until October 30, 2026. The packages apply to eligible sailings departing between October 31, 2026, and December 31, 2027.

Carnival says FunPacks represent its largest collection of bundled vacation add-ons to date, with options designed to appeal to families, non-drinkers and guests seeking a more inclusive cruise experience.

Four Packages, Different Price Points

  • The entry-level Kidstarter FunPack, priced at US$25 per day, is designed for children and teens aged three to 17. It includes Carnival’s Bottomless Bubbles unlimited soda package, Social Wi-Fi, 1,000 arcade tokens, a souvenir lanyard and discounts on candy purchases.
  • For guests who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, the Zero Proof FunPack costs US$50 per day. It combines the CHEERS! Zero Proof beverage package with Value Wi-Fi and discounts on shore excursions and specialty dining.
  • The Social FunPack, priced at US$60 per day, introduces a new beverage option called CHEERS! Social. It includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverages and up to three alcoholic drinks daily, along with Premium Wi-Fi, a shore excursion, specialty dining and discounts on spa treatments and photos.
  • The Epic FunPack, priced at US$99 per day, offers the most extensive collection of inclusions. Guests receive Carnival’s full CHEERS! beverage package, Premium Wi-Fi, two shore excursions, two specialty dining meals, spa and photo discounts, sparkling wine and laundry service.

Carnival says the packages are intended to simplify the process of purchasing cruise extras, allowing guests to arrange several components of their vacation before departure rather than booking each separately.

Dynamic Pricing On The Way

The introduction of FunPacks comes ahead of another change to Carnival’s pricing structure.

Beginning December 1, 2026, the cruise line plans to introduce dynamic pricing for individual beverage and Wi-Fi packages, with rates varying according to itinerary, season and sailing length.

The shift means the cost of purchasing these amenities separately may differ from one sailing to another, making pre-cruise package comparisons increasingly important.

For travel advisors, FunPacks provide another opportunity to discuss the total cost of a cruise vacation with clients, particularly those who typically purchase several onboard extras.

Families with children, guests who prefer alcohol-free beverages and travellers planning to book multiple shore excursions or specialty dining experiences may find particular value in the bundled options.

Full details and booking eligibility are available through Carnival’s FunPacks information page.
