City Cruises celebrated the 35th anniversary of its Spirit of New Jersey sailings on May 7.

The riverboat sailed along the Hudson River, passing the Statue of Liberty, and offered guests a taste of the experience it has been delivering for decades.

“We are thrilled to hit this milestone of offering the beloved experience of scenic dining and entertainment on the water to residents and visitors boarding from New Jersey,” Melissa Klein, regional director of marketing, told TMR. “We look forward to hosting more guests as we continue to expand our offerings at this port as well as across City Cruises’ 22 destinations.”

Klein noted that the New Jersey sailing is a great way for families to see New York City without the stress of entering the city itself. Over the years, the boat has hosted dinners and brunches, date nights, milestone celebrations and parties, corporate outings, and weddings.

“Outside of the jaw-dropping panoramic views of New York City’s skyline right from the dining table, the dance floor and open-air roof deck lounge, our guests are always thrilled by our seasonal menus that are inspired by the New Jersey/New York area as well as our city-inspired cocktails and live music,” Klein said.

City Cruises also recently celebrated its 40th anniversary sailing out of Philadelphia. The brand is attached to City Experiences, offering many other tour types and a travel advisor sign-up for bookings.
