MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its full selection of Summer 2028 Caribbean cruises. Six ships will sail from four homeports, offering a wide variety of cruise lengths and port options for a sunny holiday.

Highlights of the season include two World Class ships—MSC World America from Miami and MSC World Atlantic in its first summer season from Port Canaveral—offering alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

Guests departing from Miami and Port Canaveral will also be able to choose from short sailings to The Bahamas, many of which include overnight stays at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private destination in The Bahamas.

MSC’s Sandy Cay.

Summer at Sandy Cay

Guests sailing during Summer 2028 will be among the first to visit Sandy Cay, MSC Cruises’ new luxury private island retreat off the coast of Ocean Cay. Sandy Cay will be defined by its pristine aragonite sands—among the purest and brightest in the world.

MSC says the island will remain true to the spirit of Ocean Cay–connecting guests to nature and the natural beauty of the ocean. Upgrades are coming to Ocean Cay as well, including new dining venues and dedicated family-focused and adults-only experiences.

Year-Round from La Romana

For those seeking something off the beaten path, the cruise line’s new year-round offering from La Romana in the Dominican Republic offers a diverse selection of ports, including calls at Catalina Island, where the company recently announced plans for an enhanced beach experience with upgraded facilities.

“We’re always looking for opportunities to give our guests new ways to experience MSC Cruises’ mix of European style and North American comfort, and our Summer 2028 Caribbean itineraries are a great example of that,” said Lynn Torrent, President, MSC Cruises North America.

“We have sunny getaways available for everyone, whether they’re looking for a quick weekend in The Bahamas, a family vacation aboard one of our fantastic World Class ships, or a bucket-list journey through the gorgeous Southern Caribbean. Plus, guests can look forward to the new experiences we’re building in key destinations like Ocean Cay, Sandy Cay and Catalina Island—all aimed at ensuring they have the best beach days possible.”
