MSC Cruises Puts Focus on Fun with Revamped Family Entertainment

A partnership with LEGO is a big contributor to MSC family fun.

This summer, MSC Cruises says it is redefining family entertainment at sea with an enhanced program designed to deliver memorable vacations for passengers of all ages.

From high-energy game shows and interactive experiences to parades and lively parties, the new entertainment program promises highlights for children, teens, and their parents.

The action kicks off in June, with new immersive activities designed to captivate and amaze.

Among the new features this summer:

LEGO Family Game Show: After its successful launch aboard its new flagship, MSC World America, MSC Cruises will roll out the LEGO Family Game Show across its entire fleet starting in June. This interactive experience will allow parents and children to compete in a timed creative challenge using LEGO bricks. The adorable official LEGO mascot on board, dressed in their finest sailor outfit, will have the honour of judging this competition marked by joy and good cheer.

LEGO Family Parade: Animated by seven official LEGO mascots, this colourful parade will traverse the iconic spaces of the ship, inviting guests to join the celebration. Passengers will be able to experience this festive event on a selection of ships, including MSC World America, MSC World Europa, MSC Virtuosa,MSC Bellissima, MSC Seashore, MSC Seascape, and MSC Meraviglia.

MSC ORIGINALS: For families passionate about music and dance, MSC Cruises will launch the brand new DOREMIX Family Disco across its entire fleet starting in June. With an exclusive MSC Cruises soundtrack, also available on all digital platforms, this family dance party will be hosted by mascot Doremi, who will take on the role of DJ and judge for intergenerational dance competitions.

ORIGINAL GAMES — BOXES and MSC BOOM: With BOXES, participants will have to take on surprise challenges, revealed only upon opening a chosen box. As for MSC BOOM, this game uses new technologies in competitions where players compete to win rewards.

GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS: In response to the success experienced with its guests, MSC Cruises is expanding the availability of its Guinness World Records activities aimed at both adults and children. This summer, these exclusive events will be offered aboard 16 ships, providing guests with the unique opportunity to attempt to break official records while experiencing an unforgettable time at sea.

Weekly digital tournaments, including the PS5 F1 Sim Racing Tournament, will invite video game enthusiasts to take on challenges and experience adrenaline rushes during thrilling virtual races.

Enhanced experiences for teens and their parents:

New at the Teens Club: Starting in June, teenagers up to 17 years old will discover new experiences on board, with even more sports activities and exclusive editions of the Silent Disco, Golden Party, and Quiz O’clock.

Golden Party & Quiz for parents: in response to growing demand, MSC Cruises is launching the Golden Party, a new  event designed to offer parents a moment of relaxation and enjoyment. This new addition enriches MSC Cruises’ festive programming, including the essential White Party, Glow Party, and Sunshine Party, which have become highlights of the onboard experience.

Quiz enthusiasts will also be able to test their knowledge with 75 original quizzes offered across the entire fleet, during the Quiz O’Clock events organized during the day in a friendly atmosphere, with refreshments and interactive entertainment.

With this entirely reimagined entertainment program, MSC Cruises says it “promises to make the summer of 2025 the most memorable for all families wishing to share beautiful emotions and unforgettable vacations at sea.”
