Royal Caribbean on Tuesday announced plans for the next iteration of its Royal Beach Club destination experience — Royal Beach Club Santorini.
Royal Beach Club Santorini will open in summer 2026 and will welcome guests from both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. It’s set to be a part of an “Ultimate Santorini Day,” Royal said, a day that includes “exploring the gems of the island, from the white-washed buildings and blue-domed churches in Oia, to a stroll through the shops, cafes and art galleries in Fira.”
“Santorini is an incredible destination that our guests love to explore, and with this new beach club, we are able to bring the best of what the island has to offer with the signature service Royal Caribbean is known for,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean.
Royal already has plans to launch its Beach Club concept in The Bahamas this December with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island and then follow it up with Royal Beach Club Cozumel next year. Then, Royal Beach Club South Pacific in Lelepa, will open in 2028.
While Royal didn’t reveal much else about Royal Beach Club Santorini on Tuesday, it did reveal a little of what Paradise Island will look like last year. That edition will feature two beaches, three seaside Paradise Grills, over 40 cabanas for rental, and more across 17 acres on the western end of Paradise Island. With the purchase of a day pass, Royal Caribbean guests will be able to access all the amenities, with everything included from the first water taxi ride to drinks at the seven beach bars and three swim-up bars to food at the three Paradise Grills, and more. Guests can expect a similar situation in Santorini.
All those Beach Clubs will join Royal’s other land-based destinations, which are highlighted by Perfect Day at CocoCay, and will be joined by the Southernmost Hotel on Earth The Cormorant at 55 South in Chile, which will open next year.
