The Cayman Islands are enticing summer travellers with free night offers.
Canada was the primary driver of the Cayman Islands’ strong February performance, delivering double-digit growth for the fourth consecutive month. A total of 6,102 Canadian visitors travelled to the destination, representing a 47.0% year-over-year increase and the highest monthly total on record from the Canadian market.
Overall, the island welcomed 49,075 stayover visitors, up 10.1% year over year and marking the destination’s second-best February on record.
Including both stayover and cruise segments, total visitation reached 208,992 visitors, representing a 7.3% year-over-year increase.
Year-to-date, momentum remains strong. Following a record January, stayover arrivals totalled 95,112 visitors through February, up 11.8% compared to the same period in 2025.
“Delivering one of the strongest February performances in our history, following a record-breaking January, demonstrates the continued success of our strategic focus on airlift expansion, targeted marketing and strong industry partnerships,” said The Hon. Gary Rutty, Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism and Trade Development.
“The Cayman Islands continues to perform at a high level across multiple markets, reinforcing our position as a leading premium destination in the Caribbean.”
Helping to drive visitation is increased capacity from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada which increased by 20.9% in February 2026, which includes new February services from Toronto and Ottawa.
“Cayman’s visitor chooses our destination due to its accessibility, safety and premium positioning,” said Director of Tourism, Rosa Harris. “February’s performance reflects the strength of our global demand and the effectiveness of our strategic investment in developing emerging markets.
We look forward to continuing to deliver meaningful results for the destination.”
