Intrepid Launches Advisor Incentive Focused on Toronto International Film Festival

Intrepid Launches Advisor Incentive Focused on Toronto International Film Festival

Intrepid Travel is celebrating the Canadian advisors who help travellers discover the world with the launch of the Intrepid x TIFF VIP Experience, an incentive offering one selected Canadian travel advisor the chance to experience the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September.

Returning to TIFF for the third consecutive year as a presenting sponsor, Intrepid Travel will once again support the festival’s Centrepiece program, a showcase of bold international cinema and stories from around the world.

Canadian travel advisors who have recently booked Intrepid trips will be invited to apply for the Intrepid x TIFF VIP Experience by filling out this form. One advisor will be selected to receive a VIP weekend in Toronto, including:

  • Two TIFF Festival regular tickets.
  • A Toronto Urban Adventures experience for two.
  • A two-night stay at Revery Hotel during the second weekend of TIFF.
  • A $200 CAD dinner gift card at a local restaurant.

The experience is designed to recognize and reward advisors who champion Intrepid, while celebrating the important role travel advisors play in connecting travellers with meaningful experiences around the world.

As part of the application process, advisors will also be invited to share their perspectives on selling Intrepid, including what motivates them to recommend the brand, memorable travel stories and ideas for helping more advisors discover and sell Intrepid. These insights will help inform Intrepid’s ongoing work to strengthen its relationships with the Canadian travel advisor community.

The incentive forms part of Intrepid’s broader partnership with TIFF, which brings together two shared passions: storytelling and exploration.

When the TIFF street festival returns in September, Intrepid will once again bring its immersive Intrepid Travel Box Office Pop-Up to David Pecaut Square, creating an interactive experience for festival-goers and celebrating the connection between storytelling, culture and exploration.

“TIFF and travel share something powerful, the ability to take people somewhere new and introduce them to different cultures, perspectives and stories,” said Christian Wolters, President of Intrepid Travel Canada.

“Our travel advisor partners play an important role in bringing those stories to life, and this experience is a chance for us to recognize and celebrate the advisors who champion Intrepid and help their clients discover the world.”

Applications for the Intrepid x TIFF VIP Experience will close on September 1. Full details and eligibility information are available through Intrepid Travel’s advisor channels. Terms and conditions can be found here.
