TTC Tour Brands has announced the Grand Egyptian Museum will be added to all Trafalgar and Insight Vacations Egypt itineraries following its highly anticipated opening on Nov. 1, 2025.
The long-awaited update to Cairo’s Grand Egyptian Museum is one of the must-see attractions of 2026, and is helping fuel the resurgence in Egypt travel. Following the reopening, the GEM will be the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization, and will showcase over 5,000 treasures from Tutankhamun’s collection—presented together for the first time.
“The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum will be one of the most significant cultural moments of the decade,” said Jen Hirtle, general manager for EMEA travel experiences, TTC Tour Brands.
Trafalgar’s Egypt collection offers guided tours and Nile cruises with expert Egyptologists and easy access to major sites like the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and Abu Simbel. Insight Vacations adds a premium touch with upgraded stays and Women-Only departures that include visits to a women’s co-operative in Aswan and high tea at the Old Cataract Hotel.
GEM will also be available as an optional experience with Costsaver Egypt tours. A more budget-friendly brand, Costsaver offers more flexibility, letting travelers explore independently while still benefiting from guided support.
“Egypt has always been a destination that inspires travelers and now advisors can offer even more reasons for their clients to experience it with Trafalgar, Insight Vacations or Costsaver,” added Hirtle. “From immersive Nile cruises to curated premium journeys including Women-Only departures, we are giving advisors exciting ways to meet growing demand.”
