Uber Beats Car Rentals on Corporate Expense Reports This Year
by Anna GleksmanAccording to expense-reporting company Certify, more corporate travelers used Uber than car rental services for the first time in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Uber now accounts for 41% of rides by corporate travelers, up from 37% last year. Uber has already beat out cabs in terms of numbers on expense reports and frequency of usage; in the second quarter Uber rose to 55% while cabs declined to 43%.
Uber competitor Lyfte rose sevenfold year over year, according to Certify. While comprising only 1% of receipts, it grew 153% in ridership over the first quarter of 2015
