Atlas Ocean Voyages on Tuesday announced a slate of new hirings, rounding out its trade team that most recently added Kristian C. Anderson as executive vice president of global sales.

Kelly Popovski is joining Atlas as senior director of field sales for North America. Popovski was most recently senior director of sales operations at SeaDream. She also spent nearly six years at Virgin Voyages as part of the team that launched that cruise line. Before that, she served in a variety of roles with Norwegian Cruise Line.

Richard Whitaker is joining Atlas as director of national accounts. Whitaker has been in the cruise industry for a decade, including roles with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and Azamara Cruises.

Logan Steele is coming aboard as regional sales director for Southeast USA. Steele previously worked with Atlas in 2024 and has also spent time at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Pedro Jaimot will now serve as director of charter and MICE operations for Atlas, reporting to Robert Cao, vice president of charter and MICE. Jaimot has spent time in the industry with Star Clippers, Landry & Kling, Cruise Planners, and Ponant.

And finally, Juan Lopez, who has served in the same area with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, is now Atlas’ director of guest services.

Atlas Ocean Voyages, which debuted in 2021 with its first ship, brands itself as luxury expedition and offers three styles of expedition voyages: Polar, Epicurean, and Cultural.
