Azamara Cruises has launched the Azamara Cruises Travel Advisor Council, a new advisory program designed to elevate the collaboration between the brand and top travel advisors, and strengthen alignment across sales, marketing, and guest experience initiatives. The program also reinforces Azamara’s dedication to building meaningful, long-term relationships with the advisor community.
The Council brings together a select group of high-performing travel advisors who will serve as trusted partners to Azamara’s leadership team. Council members will provide strategic insights, product feedback, and a frontline perspective to help shape future programs, tools, and initiatives that support advisor success and enhance guest satisfaction.
“This council represents our commitment to listening, learning, and growing alongside our travel advisor community,” said Michelle Lardizabal, chief sales officer, North America, Azamara Cruises. “By formalizing this advisory group, we’re ensuring that advisor voices directly influence our business with the expertise of our valued partners.”
Through structured collaboration sessions, ongoing dialogue, and early access to key initiatives, the 10 Travel Advisor Council members chose by the line’s sales managers across the U.S. and Canada will help test new ideas, refine processes, and champion Azamara within the trade.
The Azamara Cruises Travel Advisor Council is a 12-month commitment composed of advisors representing diverse markets, specialties, and customer segments across North America. Members must have a minimum of five years of cruise-focused industry experience, be AWA graduates, and have both sailed on and sold Azamara.
