Chef Michel Roux will return to Cunard’s Queen Anne with five exclusive Culinary Residences in 2027 and 2028.
Chef Roux is the surviving co-founder brother of the legendary Le Gavroche restaurant in Mayfair, London that operated for 57 years. With Le Gavroche’s doors now closed on land, Cunard’s Queen Anne is the only place in the world where guests can experience the restaurant’s renowned cuisine.
At the heart of each residency is Le Gavroche at Sir Samuels, where guests – limited to just 50 each evening – can enjoy a specially curated tasting menu inspired by the restaurant’s rich heritage and celebrated dishes.
Guests sailing on residency voyages can also enjoy an exclusive three-course Gala menu in all main dining rooms and Oysters at Carinthia, an enhanced seafood offering available each evening in the elegant surroundings of the Carinthia Lounge.
Clients on these voyages will also have the chance to meet twins Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, affectionately known as ‘The Sisters’, whose warmth and hospitality made them much-loved figures at Le Gavroche for more than 20 years.
Beyond the dining experience, guests can enjoy a program of exclusive events hosted by Michel Roux, including live cooking demonstrations, Cunard Insights talks, Q&A sessions, and book signings, offering a fascinating insight into Roux’s life, career, and culinary philosophy.
“The response to Le Gavroche at Sea has been extraordinary since its launch, and we’re delighted to continue our partnership with Michel in 2027 and 2028,” said Paul Ludlow, president of Cunard. “Michel’s passion for exceptional cuisine and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with Cunard’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences at sea… We know our guests look forward to these sailings each year, and we’re delighted to offer another season of memorable culinary experiences.”
The Michel Roux Culinary Residencies will take place on seven-night Norway and Norwegian Fjords voyages in May, August, and September 2027, as well as on a Norway and Denmark voyage in May 2028 and a Norwegian Fjords voyage in June 2028.
The Chef Michel Roux Culinary Residencies of the 2028 season are most likely the last ones for Queen Anne, as the ship transfers to P&O Cruises in 2029.
