Disney Cruise Line Is Bringing a Haunted Mansion Bar to Its Newest Ship

When the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Treasure, launches in 2024 it will do so with a number of firsts from Disney, including a Coco-themed dining room, a new aquamouse coaster, and a Jungle Cruises-themed bar and lounge.

On Tuesday, Disney unveiled yet another first for its fleet that will debut on Treasure—an all-new bar inspired by the Disney Parks attraction The Haunted Mansion.

The bar, called the Haunted Mansion Parlor, will invite guests into what Disney is calling “the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion,” focusing on the story of a “jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé.”

The bar’s theming is inspired by a Haunted Mansion-era drawing room with a nautical theme and nods to Disney Parks attractions around the room. Just like the attraction, the bar will have its own “ghostly residents,” with faces occupying a portrait gallery on the venue’s walls.

For drinks, the bar will offer a selection of cocktails, including some new ones specifically designed for the Parlor:

  • Sympathetic Libations: a zero-proof cocktail made up of blood orange and sour cherry flavors served in a specialty mug.
  • Ghoulish Delight: an ube-flavored drink that will be garnished with a gummy eyeball and ube glitter.
  • A “spooky twist on a classic margarita,” a tequila-based cocktail that will be served in a swirl of smoke and topped with a lemon salt foam.

Disney is also promising some new merchandise items built specifically for the venue, including a music box, a parlor clock, a mug, and a mirror.

Treasure is scheduled to embark on its debut voyage, a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral, on Dec. 21, 2024. From there, it will sail an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Bookings will open for Castaway Club members as soon as Sept. 12, 2023, and then to all guests on Sept. 20, 2023.
