Walt Disney World has revealed new details about Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge set to open on July 1, 2027.
The new waterfront resort will have 967 nature-inspired guest rooms located on Bay Lake, a short boat ride from Magic Kingdom Park. Just beyond the lobby, the property’s outdoor recreation area, The Wetlands, will feature “Pocahontas”-inspired wet and dry play areas, a lazy river, and a zero-entry pool with a spiral waterslide.
There will also be three food and beverage concepts: Moonglade, the signature table-service restaurant with waterfront dining; Bay Lake Provisions, the all-day marketplace featuring fresh fare and specialty coffees; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, the poolside dining venue.
Now, Disney has unveiled a first look at the resort’s accommodations, which will range from duo studios to spacious Lake Houses and villas. Here are the details:
Duo Studios will be vibrant, colorful rooms, inspired by the animated film “Encanto” and designed with couples and solo travelers in mind. They’ll have kitchenettes, spa-style split bathrooms, and queen-size pull-down beds that tuck into the wall when not in use.
Deluxe Studios will feature more neutral tones and natural materials, inspired by “Bambi” and displaying original concept artwork from the archives. Accommodating up to four guests, they will have kitchenettes, private balconies, and comfortable seating areas.
Lake Houses will be free-standing, A-frame retreats with one or two bedrooms, accommodating five or eight guests, respectively. Floor-to-ceiling windows will let in plenty of natural light and lake views, while the walls will be adorned with artwork from “Brother Bear.” The houses will feature a private porch overlooking the water, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer, and the primary bedroom will have a special Northern Lights lighting fixture.
One-to-two-bedroom Villas will be inspired by “Bambi” and offer full kitchens, washers and dryers, private patios, and spacious living and dining areas, accommodating up to five and nine guests, respectively.
Three-bedroom Grand Villas will be inspired by “Fantasia” with artistic elegance woven into their design. Best suited for multi-generational families and groups, they will accommodate up to 12 guests with ample living space, including multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a private patio with premium water views.
The Hidden Willow Presidential Suite will offer an elevated experience with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and concierge lounge access. It will accommodate up to six guests and offer prime viewing of the nightly Magic Kingdom Park fireworks.
The Artist’s Nest will be the elevated concierge lounge for guests staying in selection accommodations. It will offer personalized service, complimentary refreshments, and sweeping views of Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Vacation Club members will have first dibs on reservations at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge beginning Oct. 6. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can start booking on Oct. 7, and bookings will open to the public and travel advisors on Oct. 8.
