MSC Cruises has launched new digital remote check-in technology in Seattle, designed to streamline the embarkation process for Alaska sailings. The program, however, is only available for guests traveling on MSC Cruises’ official airport transfers.
With the new system, guests can complete full embarkation procedures before reaching the terminal, allowing them to proceed directly to security and then boarding. Check-in must be done at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport prior to getting on their transfer bus.
The program will eventually be extended to general airport arrivals, hotels, and other selected locations where guests begin their journey.
Following the successful launch in Seattle, MSC Cruises plans to progressively roll out Digital Remote Check-In across additional ports throughout its global network.
