Set to sail starting on Dec. 11, 2026, MSC World Asia will feature several firsts for MSC Cruises, along with the longest dry slide at sea and new-to-brand restaurants.

MSC World Asia is the third entry in the line’s World Class, which also includes MSC World Europa and MSC World America, which debuted this past April. The ship will feature subtle design elements that reflect Asia’s culture, art, and landscapes.

Like its sister ships, MSC World Asia will feature seven onboard districts, each with its own atmosphere and range of facilities and experiences. At the heart of the ship is the World Promenade, an open-air space full of dining, entertainment, lounging, and shopping options.

Here, guests will find a new Pan-Asian specialty restaurant, featuring a dedicated bar and both inside and outside space. The yet-to-be-named venue will focus on Southeast Asian cuisine, including flavors from Singapore, Thailand, Laos, South China, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

At the top of the ship, adrenaline-seeking passengers can check out the Tree of Life @The Spiral, set to be the longest dry slide at sea at 266.7 feet long, transporting guests down 12 decks in a matter of seconds.

Other new options will be Promenade Bites, a casual spot serving freshly-prepared street-food-style snacks; Sweet Temptations, where guests can indulge in gelato, cakes, crepes, frozen yogurt, and shakes; and Coffee Emporium, with a curated selection of blends and brewing styles from around the world.

Also new will be the All-Stars Sports Bar, where guests can watch matches on big screens, play interactive games, and grab a drink and classic American bar snack favorites.

MSC World Asia will debut in the Mediterranean, sailing seven-night cruises in the winter 2026/27 and summer 2027 seasons. Overall, it will feature more than 40 bars, lounges, and restaurants with six specialty restaurant concepts including Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki, and Hola! Tacos & Cantina, plus new concepts to be revealed. Seven pools and 13 hot tubs will make finding a place to cool off easy.

A highlight for families will be the Cliffhanger, an adrenaline-pumping outdoor swing ride, and The Harbour, a new outdoor park within the Family Aventura District. Families will also appreciate expansive kids clubs with dedicated facilities for babies to teens.
