MSC Cruises will debut an all-new culinary concept onboard MSC World Asia when it launches later this year. The Pan-Asian venue will be open all day for a mix of sit-down dining, on-the-go street-style bites, and Southeast Asia-inspired cocktails and beverages.
The venue will also feature music, live cooking demonstrations, and an overall design that evokes the flavors, sights, and sounds of Southeast Asia, drawing on the energy of bustling street markets across Indonesia, Singapore, South China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Menu items include such items as aromatic Singapore-style shrimp, shiitake mushroom fried rice, and flavorful wok-fired specialties.
“With this new three-in-one venue, we are inviting guests to explore one of the world’s most exciting food cultures in a way that is vibrant, welcoming and full of flavor,” said Stéphane Franchini, senior director food & beverage product, MSC Cruises. “From the diverse range of dishes to the atmosphere of the space and the expertise of Chefs Xiao Wang and Luca Césarini, every detail has been carefully designed to create a truly immersive culinary journey.
“It reflects our ambition to offer greater choice, seamless convenience and more memorable moments through food,” she added.

Three Signature Experiences
The as-yet-unnamed venue will feature three distinct experiences. The specialty restaurant will offer a relaxed atmosphere with indoor seating as well as an outdoor rooftop terrace. The menu will include appetizers, main courses, and desserts, encouraging guests to mix and match different flavors and regions.
Guests will also be able to choose from a curated selection of Asian beers served by the bottle, including Tsingtao, Chang and Bintang, alongside a menu of bubble teas, freshly prepared smoothies, and fruit juices.
The bar and lounge, located within the venue, will feature a selection of the most popular Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails, such as jasmine mojitos, rose and strawberry daiquiris, and matcha coladas.
The complimentary on-the-go piece of the venue will be designed for guests looking for quick bites during the day. Inspired by the spontaneity of street food, menu items will include crispy seafood balls, fluffy bao buns, and more.
The new venue will be on of 19 overall dining options on MSC World Asia.
