Norwegian Cruise Line Cancels 38 Cruises Scheduled for 2025 & 2026
by Sarah Milner /Norwegian Cruise Line has canceled multiple sailings originally scheduled between November 2025 and April 2026, Cruise Industry News reports.
In a statement sent to travel advisors, NCL said it had cancelled 38 cruises onboard three ships: the Norwegian Jewel, the Norwegian Star and the Norwegian Dawn.
The 16 canceled Norwegian Jewel sailings were five- to 14-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises set to depart between Nov. 23, 2025, and April 5, 2026, from Tampa.
NCL also canceled Norwegian Star’s full season in South America and Antarctica, totaling 11 cruises between Nov. 20, 2025, and April 14, 2026.
Finally, the cruise line has canceled all 11 Norwegian Dawn cruises scheduled to depart from Nov. 2, 2025, and April 12, 2026. Originally, these itineraries were set in Africa and Asia, visiting ports in the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and more.
At this time, NCL has not announced replacement sailings.
Impacted guests will soon receive letters notifying them of the deployment changes. NCL is issuing full monetary refunds to the original form of payment used at the time of booking.
NCL is also offering guests a 10% discount on future sailings in the form of a Future Cruise Credit (FCC).
Travel advisor commissions for guests who had paid in full will be protected.
