With the launch of its JAXPORT operations last week, Norwegian Cruise Line now operates cruises from three Florida ports. The seasonal service from Jacksonville will operate from November 2025 through April 2028, with itineraries to the Bahamas and Caribbean onboard Norwegian Gem.
“Our new homeport partnership with JAXPORT underscores Norwegian’s commitment to providing guests with exceptional vacation experiences from convenient departure points,” said Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.
JAXPORT, a popular drive-to-cruise market, joins Miami and Port Canaveral as the third Florida port for NCL. Options from JAXPORT include short Bahamas getaways, as well as 11- and 12-day Caribbean voyages exploring a mix of destinations including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Antigua, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, among others.
