Norwegian Cruise Line has opened for sale the finale in its Prima Class, the Norwegian Bella, which is scheduled to debut in Europe in May 2028.
At approximately 1,129 feet long and 170,000 gross tons, Norwegian Bella will accommodate 3,921 guests at double occupancy and will join Norwegian Aura as the largest ship in the NCL fleet. Its inaugural season will comprise seven-day roundtrip Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona.
Onboard, Norwegian Bella will offer similar experiences to Norwegian Aura, which launches in May 2027.
“Norwegian Bella marks a milestone moment in our fleet as the culmination of our award-winning Prima Class,” said Marc Kazlauskas, president of NCL. “Drawing on the innovations and guest feedback that have shaped the class from the very beginning, Norwegian Bella brings together our most sought-after experiences in one extraordinary ship. From enhanced outdoor spaces and family-friendly attractions to elevated venues for relaxation and connection, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to give guests the freedom and flexibility to vacation exactly how they want to, without anyone having to compromise.”
Returning from Norwegian Aura will be Ocean Heights, spanning decks 18 through 21, an open-air complex that transforms throughout the day, serving as a playground by afternoon and social hub at night. Highlights of Ocean Heights include side-by-side Eclipse Racers waterslides; the Bella Free Fall waterslide; The Wave, a pendulum-style raft slide; The Drop, a dry slide that sends guests down 10 decks in a matter of seconds; and more.
Like on Norwegian Aura, Bella’s Ocean Boulevard will be enhanced with additional seating as compared to Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, featuring hot tubs and an outdoor bar. At the heart of the experience is Infinity Beach, where guests can enjoy infinity pools, upscale daybeds, hot tubs, and a full-service outdoor bar.
Dedicated spaces for younger guests include Little Explorers’ Cay, complete with a playhouse and slides for ages 2 to 6; and Adventure Alley, offering ages 6 to 10 a playground filled with crawl spaces, winding tunnels, and more. Teens have their own hangout at Surf’s Bay.
Expanded Pool Deck, Family Water Play & Adults-Only Escape
Over 15% larger than Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna’s pool decks, Norwegian Bella’s expansive pool decks will feature more space and seating, an infinity hot tub, and a large LED entertainment screen.
Highlights of the top deck will include the Kids’ Aqua Park, featuring a reimagined splash pad design and interactive water features for young cruisers; Infinity Loop, a figure-eight slide; and Horizon Park, which offers outdoor lounging and lawn games.
The Vibe Beach Club will offer an adults-only escape with infinity hot tubs, a central oceanfront bar, sun loungers, and more.
Norwegian Bella’s hull art will feature an original design by Australian contemporary artist George Rose, known for bold murals and vibrant botanical compositions.
